By commission of the Swedish Road Administration, SRA, with the active  assistance of Göteborg City Traffic Office and Region West of SRA, the  Swedish  National Road and Transport Research Institute, VTI, has analysed traffic  safety  development in the city of Göteborg over the period 1990?2002.  The traffic safety situation has also been compared with that in Stockholm  and  Malmö over the same period.
