The purpose of this research is to gather information about the costs per fatality of traffic accidents in various nations. The values adopted by the authorities in different countries are analyzed and compared, and the estimation methods are also analyzed and compared. Comparisons are performed between different countries and over time, for the time period 1990-1999.
