Abstract [en]
This paper discusses the current highway and traffic safety concerns in Greece. It presents trends in road safety records, including seat belt and helmet use statistics. Greek peculiarities are described, among which are the widespread use of motorcycles and mopeds. The final section of the paper discusses road safety targets for the future.
