Aero EDIH supports SME:s, Public Entities and Regional Airports via digitalization services and focuses on the technology fields of Cybersecurity, AI, High Performance Computing and Next-Generation Air Mobility. Aero EDIH also focuses on the green transformation of the Aerospace Industry.  

Aero EDIHs contributes to the goals of the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy by driving digitalization and modernization of the current transportation system and actors, making the system more seamless and efficient. One example of this could be utilizing AI and HPC for optimizing flight routes or the aerodynamic design of aerial systems. 

Aero EDIH acts as an accelerator, knowledge hub and multiplier in the field of advanced aerial mobility supporting cutting edge technology and facilitate networking between new and important actors within the transportation system to pave the way for interconnecting the 2D-logstic systems of today with the air mobility systems of the future.
