Abstract [en]

It is now about ten years after the "new wave" of roundabouts has flooded Slovenia, and there are twenty-seven roundabouts installed all over the country. Further increase of their number is foreseen and the proposal of Slovenian regulation for designing of roundabouts is in its stage of ratification. This is a good opportunity for a general review of the process concerning roundabouts in the Republic of Slovenia. In this paper, the Slovenian experiences with roundabouts in built up areas are presented.
