Abstract [en]

Starting in 2000, condition assessment of road markings have been carried out in Sweden. As previously, the purpose of the study has been to answer the questions: - To which degree is the performance in the Swedish regulations fulfilled? - Is there any difference in road marking quality within the same region, i.e. between the counties? - How has the performance fluctuated over time?

The retroreflectivity and macro texture of dry road markings have been measured using the RMT version 2 in 2009. The retroreflectivity of wet road markings and the skid resistance have been estimated from the dry performance and the macro texture.
