Abstract [sv]

Mätning av bränsleförbrukning och utsläpp av skadliga ämnen i fordonsavgaser, under realistiska trafikförhållanden i verklig trafik, är av central betydelse för validering av avgasmodeller och kartläggning av kallstartseffekter.

VTI:s mätbil med utrustning installerad för mätning av avgaser och bränsle ”real-world” kördes en 16,7 km lång stadsrunda med kall start. Reproducerbarheten beträffande körförlopp, emissioner etc. vid upprepade körningar var god. Emissions- och bränslefaktorer sammanställdes ur mätdata för den inledande kalla fasen som varade 3-4 minuter och för den knappt 29 minuter långa varma delen av körningen. Ur dessa data beräknades kallstartstillägg (startemissioner) avseende:

Bränsleförbrukning (dm3/kallstart)               0,066 (0,044)

Kväveoxider (g/kallstart)                             0,600 (0,420)

Kolväten (g/kallstart)                                  3,564 (0,505)

Osäkerhetsmått på 95 %-nivån ges inom parentes. De redovisade startemissionerna är av likartad storleksordning som tidigare rapporterade resultat beräknade ur underlag från mätningar i chassidynamometer.

Abstract [en]

Measurements of fuel consumption and emissions of gaseous pollutants in vehicle exhaust during realistic conditions in real traffic, are of vital importance for e. g. validation of emission models and for obtaining data on cold start effects.

The VTI experimental car with installed apparatus for real-world measurements of exhaust emissions and fuel expenditure was driven after cold start around a 16,7 km long urban driving course. Reproducibility of driving pattern, emissions etc. proved to be excellent for repeated runs. Emission and fuel factors were compiled from the measured data for the initial cold phase lasting 3.4 minutes and for the slightly less than 29 minutes of warm driving. From these data cold start emissions were calculated:

Fuel consumption (dm3/cold start) 0,066 (0,044)

Nitrogen oxides (g/cold start) 0,600 (0,420)

Hydrocarbons (g/cold start) 3,564 (0,505)

Uncertainty measures on the 95 % level are given in parentheses. The start emissions cited are of similar magnitude as the values earlier reported1 using data from chassis dynamometer measurements.
